Tamping type compactors rely on ground pressure and speed to achieve their compactive effort, thus the SC805's compaction tips have been designed to provide the same ground pressure as larger compactors.
The specially designed chevron tamping feet provide high ground pressure, good compaction, smooth ride and excellent traction.
The dual direction cleaner bar tips keep drums free of dirt regardless of rolling direction and are manufactured from Caterpillar DH2 steel providing extended wear life and also reduce wheel drag in heavy conditions.
Cleaner bars are easily adjusted with a spanner or socket due to the locknuts being located and held in the cleaner tip mounting block.
