VPAT Blade
The standard Variable Pitch, Angle and Tilt blade enables SC805 operators to efficiently spread, mix and level bulk fill without the assistance of a dozer or grader. In addition to the industries most versatile blade, the SC805 operator has outstanding visibility to the blade and surrounding work area.
VPAT Blade hydraulic functions include:
- Raise, lower and float.
- Tilt left and right.
- Angle left and right.
The ability to angle the blade up to 25° to the left or right permits operators to direct material against banks and grade fill areas as they are completed. Blade pitch can be altered through the adjustable top link. The absence of external blade push arms allows complete compaction against vertical walls and banks where other machines are restricted by a frame or blade arm. Blade width is 2921mm.
VPAT Blades are built with three full-width box section reinforcement cells for strength and durability and utilise Caterpillar DH2 cutting edges.
